Motivation

Alice came to the fork in the road.
"Which road do I take?" she asked.
"Where do you want to go?" responded the Cheshire cat.
"I don't know," Alice answered.
"Then," said the cat, "it doesn't matter."
- Lewis Carroll, Alice in Wonderland

- Henry Ford

We are not in a position in which we have nothing to work with. We already have capacities, talents, direction, missions, callings.
- Abraham Maslow

The only limits are, as always, those of vision.
- James Broughton

Obstacles are those frightful things you see when you take your eyes off your goals.

Even if you're on the right track, you'll get run over if you just sit there.
- Will Rogers

Aim at nothing and you will hit it every time.

First we form habits, then they form us.
- Rob Gilbert

We cannot control life's difficult moments but we can choose to make life less difficult. We cannot control the negative atmosphere of the world, but we can control the atmosphere of our minds. Too often we try to choose and control things we cannot. Too seldom we choose to control what we can -- our attitude.
- John Maxwell

Those motivation quotes are awesome! I talked with Schrand about the start of our "get togethers" and he was thrilled...said he would cover the cost. I think we can use the quotes as "attitude adjustments" at each of these get togethers. We need to think of a name for them though, I don't want to call it a meeting, as we already have enough of those, but I don't want to just call it a "get together" either!
